Pastor's Letter

Dear BHBC Family,

 

On Tuesday, September 7, the BHBC Weekday Education will begin their 2010/2011 school year. In fact, their Open House is today and tomorrow (Wednesday and Thursday). I am very proud of this long running ministry extension of BHBC. Please pray for the leadership and staff. Kathy Davis does a fantastic job as our director. She represents BHBC everyday in a professional and Christian manner. We are thankful for her ministry. Our teaching staff is the best. They, too, represent BHBC in a great manner everyday. We are thankful for them. Please pray for the families who entrust their precious children with our ministry everyday. Many parents depend on this program so they can continue to work. Even grandparents take advantage of our ministry to have a morning break or so their grandchildren can interact with other children. Each year our Weekday Education families experience blessings upon blessings. At the same time, many of our families will experience loss and grief during the school year. It is good to know that in the best of times and the worst of times their children will be loved and cared for. Please pray for these families to have a positive experience this school year. We are thankful for them. Finally, please pray for the main focus of this ministry…the children. Pray they are safe, they grow, they learn and they make many new friends everyday. We are thankful for them.

 

Also, if you have time, please take a walk to the Weekday Education wing and take a look at the renovations and improvements that have been made for this school year. I believe you will be impressed with what they are doing.
